Importantly my team consists of three members. I, me, and myself !!
It is a general belief that only deserving reach to the top. Innocently we believe that one does not venture to enter into any field unless he is amply talented. Many desert their artistic flings under misconstrued belief that they are too immature. Many illustrated personalities went into oblivion as they had no one to carry their mantle. Many breathed their last in abject poverty as they remained as forgotten heroes. Some departed from their offsprings with ideological differences. On the whole many remained in the annals history as lone fighters.
It is perplexing that why in olden days not many thought of pushing their children into the forfront.I question their wisdom.Gandhi could have thought of making Kantilal as prime minister. Why Mukhesh failed to make his son a renouned singer? I have to verify the film archieves to know whether Shanker Jaikishan had any children. No body ever knew that Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao's son could sing. '
An entirely new generation has emerged in public life. Whether politics , cinema or business any field, where there is a chance to make huge money , should never be left to an outsider.Who bothers whether somebody is deserving or not. Let us thrust our children on the people. Initially they desist. Gradually they accept. But it is my empire. My son will inherit my throne.Talent or no talent, what difference does it make ? "yahah sub kutch chalta hai yar". I use my good offices to make him popular. It is I..me..and myself..nobody else.(I becomes 'my' too)
Heriditary politics, heriditary cinema, hereditary business, heriditary profession. Oh! God !Why am I born to a common man ?. He has no empire to pass on to me !!

Hello :)
Very interesting post!
It is only obvious that if you build an empire you want your children to take over. What is wrong in this?
Consider the following:
Queen Elizabeth, when she dies, one of her children will become king.
Dirubhai Amabani was a very poor man. He built a busines empire and he paseed it on to his children.
Singer Yesudas nurtured his son to become a singer like himself.
Amithab Bachan brought his son into cinema. Dharmendra launched his children in movies.
Sonis Gandhi wants her children to take over her mantle. Madhav Rao Scindia brought his son into politics. Karunanidhi wants his son take over after him.
I really don't think there is anything wrong in this.
This does't mean deserving people will not succeed or build an empire. Bill Gates, Warren Buffet,Dirubhai Ambani, Amitab Bachan, Dharmendra, Karunanidhi, Aiswarya Rai etc. all started from the scratch.
There are plenty of opportunities for every one in this wonderful world. The sad part is that most people want things to fall in their lap with any effort whatsoever.
Have a wonderful day :)
